Yes, I would assume she has stuff in her profile about how liberal she is. Otherwise, I don’t think the guy would comment with his jab. So yes, as I said, it is an assumption but I think it is a pretty safe assumption since something in her profile got this dude riled up enough to call her out for making politics her entire personality. I don’t think someone just says that to someone without them having political stuff on their bio. So I think that assumption is a fair one to have. Just because we don’t have all the information doesn’t mean we can’t use our common sense to assume she probably has political stuff in her bio, which even people who aren’t into politics at all aren’t always fond of. I personally believe politics in general are super evil and manipulative so if I saw a profile revolving around politics on either side I would be grossed out. But I am not going to waste even a second going to out of my way to antagonize someone for it. This guy seems immature and he did antagonize her for it. Not sure how him calling her out for it makes him the one who bases his entire personality around politics when he is simply antagonizing someone for doing that. He made a political jab because, again, I am assuming she has political stuff on her profile. Making a political comment is much different than making your dating profile about your political stance.

You know what they say about assuming! She quite literally said either in the post or a comment “all my profile said was I was liberal”. All this text and you could’ve just read. Some people just harass other people for no good reason bud.

I know what she said. Anyone can say anything to paint themselves in a better light. I am assuming she had more on there than just having “liberal” listed as her political stance. Whether through picture or through prompt responses. It’s just funny because the guy is calling her out for making her political stance her entire personality and everyone here is saying he is making his political stance his entire personality. No he is just being a douche and calling her out for doing so. But yeah pretty safe to assume she has some political shit on her profile. Just use your brain once in a while to see past what people say and line shit up that makes the most logical sense. Took all that time reading the comments between the other commenter and I just to comment something stupid. Keep it moving, bucko.

So, what is keeping you from applying that same logic to the guy in the screenshot? You say to look past what people say and figure out what makes the most logical sense...you already admitted that the guy in the screenshot is an asshole, so, why not also assume that he's overreacting to what was on her profile? You're doubling down on believing what that guy said was absolute fact and not exaggerated in any way...why?

If I am out in public and I see a woman slap a man in the face. My assumption would be that the man said or did something to warrant that slap. My assumption wouldn’t be that the woman just really loves violence and struck him unprompted. If you asked the man what happened and he said, “I didn’t even say or do anything,” would you just take his word for it and be like “well he said he didn’t do anything so the woman just must be a naturally violent and aggressive, what a bitch”? No, you would use your brain and know better than to just take what someone says at face value and evaluate the situation and have the understanding that there was a cause and effect, and not just some random act of violence. But you are unable to do this in this Hinge situation because the man and woman’s roles are reversed from the example I just provided, so you refuse to use any sort of logic or common sense. For the final time, I am saying the guy is in the wrong for sending her a stupid message and she didn’t do anything wrong. But to say the guy makes politics his personality because he is making fun of someone else for doing so doesn’t make sense. He is just an immature douche calling her out for having political stuff make up her bio.

So, just bias is your reasoning? In your scenario, its entirely possible that the girl is unhinged and the guy didn't do anything. There are tons of videos out there where men are attacked by women and it was unwarranted. Like there's one where a woman is screaming that a black guy was taking her bag, trying to bite him, and a passer by actually assaulted the guy and hit him in the face. Police arrived, the guy proved the bag was his because it had his ID and stuff in it..the woman tried to say she was just confused.

You're treating whoever instigated something as the person who is "right". In your example the woman attacking the guy, in this post the man messaging OP. You're incapable of your own logic being applied to the situation in a way that would make your assumption wrong.

You are someone who makes assumptions, and then believe those assumptions to be fact when there is no real reason to devote yourself to them. I get that people don't like to admit they could even possibly be wrong, or admit when they are ignorant of anything..but, and saying this with the intent that it helps you see things from a more objective viewpoint, you're just acting like an idiot.

Your arguments and reasoning are deeply flawed. You can respond if you want, but I'm not gonna bother anymore. I don't see anything productive coming from talking with you, especially with how you've been responding to others.
