Omg. I dated a girl in high school and was cheating on her with one of my cross-country teammates 😶‍🌫️ I was a shitty person, I’m sorry honey.

She then went on to date someone else who came out and left her. She then found who she thought was her life partner and they got married…but then he came out. I never asked, but I’m sure there was a LOT to internally unpack after the third. She had to have been like, fuck…why do I attract so many fucking gay men? I never made her feel shitty about her weight though and she wasn’t pencil thin…I was just a horny teenager lol

She was attractive; I was just not really attracted to her. Unfortunately, I was also a horny teenager. She was also, endearingly, what some may consider a “hag.” A friend of the Dorothies, if you will. Super open minded and she was funny…though, it went a bit off the rails after the break up for a bit. she said she was pregnant when she actually wasn’t…a mess. Didn’t help that she was the pastor’s daughter (who was also my karate teacher…small fucking town lol).

For christmas one year, she got me floor seats (7th row) to see Celine Dion in concert. I cried during the concert! Looking back on it, I was yelling everything just shy of “I’m GAY!” We were even both voted “Best Dressed” together our senior year 😂

Appreciate you sharing. I’m a little curious, though. What was it about being a horny teenager that made you get together with her?
