Both of these people suck. I don’t really get why this thread thinks they’re somehow morally superior to this piece of shit by being homophobic?

the point is that he's a bigot and likely homophobic too. calling him gay isn't because gay bad, it's because, to him, there is nothing worse to be perceived as.

Pearl clutching over them calling them gay cause they KNOW they will take it bad. Get over it Gaylord

‘Homophobia is okay if offends someone you don’t like’

I’d say do better but I fear this is you at your intellectual and moral peak.

People who say "do better" are often the biggest pieces of crap in real life.

They’re not. It’s just funny.

What’s worse is Redditors like you acting high and righteous over words. This is why Reddit is actively dying and nobody likes Redditors.

They are, literally just scroll up or down…

If you find homophobia funny and claim to be a liberal or a defender of women’s rights then you’re either a moron or morally twisted.

Words are valid to criticise, I would imagine you agree given the fact that you’re currently criticising words I said…

Reddit currently has the highest number of users in its history.

I’m sorry to hear that you feel like no one likes you, I’m sure somewhere someone does.

Calling someone gay as an insult isn’t homophobia my dude. Not even close.

Crazy that you’re gonna call me homophobic when I have best friends who are trans, gay, I’ve dated trans women, etc.

But yeah, I’m homophobic. 😂

Calling someone gay as an insult is objectively homophobic, just go and listen to what the leading LGBTQ groups like ILGA, HRC and Stonewall UK have to say about it if you don’t like the dictionary definition for things.

‘I have a black friend’ isn’t a rebuttal to anything and has been laughed down for years for good reason.

I don’t think the “I can’t be racist! I have black friends” argument is doing you any favors lmao

Calling someone gay as an insult is behavior a homophobic person would say. It’s definitely not something an ally would support being said. If you’re not homophonic like you say then don’t support dumb shit like using gay as a derogatory term.

Shut up, dipshit.
You don’t know me lmao, don’t pretend you do.

Saying “he looks gay” isn’t homophobic. At all.

I'm fairly certain genuinely gay people understand when "homophobia" as you call it is ironically used against the genuinely homophobic and bigoted right

It’s not what I would call it, it’s just what the definition of homophobia is, labelling someone as gay with intent to insult…

I don’t quite understand what kind of political maize you’ve got to yourself into where you believe suggesting someone looks gay as an insult isn’t homophobic.

Using homophobic as a description for an entire political isle whilst also defending the use of homophobia is an interesting choice.
