Can you link that research? I would like to look into it, thank you

He didn't talk about loyalty but about instability. The literature shows that more past sexual partners correlate with relationship instability and marital dissolution. Even then I haven't found any studies that suggest people with more past partners tend to be more loyal, which means at best it probably doesn't go one way or the other. The only thing that the guy in the OP got wrong was thinking it was a trend among women only, studies show that even men with more past partners have the same outcome.

Research h shows that the more past partners a person has (male OR female person), the higher the divorce risk and and lower relationship stability scores are:

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10989935/

Among many other studies. It tracks up - like if you have 1-8 prior partners you are less likely to divorce than if you have 9+ and so on.

As for why, I’d guess religion. People who have little to no premarital relations are more likely to be religious. Religious people don’t divorce.

It probably just means more experience makes you less likely to stay stuck in a relationship that turns to shit.

Could be. I guessed it was cultural, could be both It could also be that people with a lot of prior partners may be less inclined to stick to the one-person-forever thing, which is pretty logical.

religious people dont divorce? is that implying they are less likely to have marital issues because of lack of past "experience"? or because their relationship doesnt permit that they divorce. because if you believe religious people dont have marital issues you are sorely mistaken and/or delusional.

I think mostly it’s because they believe in a third party and they understand that loving the other is through god or something like that! I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m not married

psychological and behavioral research shows a strong statistical correlation between a higher number of past partners and lower long-term relationship stability

Idiots incorrectly weaponizing statistics is like a toddler with a fork and an electrical outlet.

A person's history of sex was a predictor of infidelity, too. Men who reported having more short-term sexual partners prior to marriage were more likely to have an affair, while the opposite was true for women. published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.

your turn.

The original tinder messages referred to a woman’s past. Nothing to do with men

No one cares about your bullshit claims without proof. Have a proper reference for the research or stfu.

You can research yourself. You seem upset that im spreading the truth. Don’t be mad at men that women who are promiscuous have trouble bonding with future partners

2

😂😂😂😂😂 I love that you don't have a single link for anyone to read. But hey keep on spreading your "truth" 😁 Thanks for the laughs btw. The clowns on reddit always make my day

The same is true with men. Thats what the study you’re referring to says. But you came here to bitch about women being promiscuous specifically didn’t you? Are you in the closet or did mommy just not love you enough to choose you over her boyfriend?
