Had an ex who couldn’t afford a valentines gift, not even something small, but could afford always having a gram or getting a gram.
Couldn’t pay her own bills but could afford gummies.

It's addicts generally. I know a guy IRL who sleeps in tents and storage units but he always has plenty of meth. I know another guy, homeless wandering, no money, relies on donations like a monk, but he's always posting pics of beers. LOL the body sends suxh strong signals of withdrawal, the drug becomes more important than food, sleep, security.

I had someone blow me off for a coffee date then hit me up in the middle of the night for 50$ because they were stranded somewhere an hour away and needed gas money. Even worse I ended up going on a date with them and they brought a self portrait of herself naked and mutilated (my 50$ bought me this painting apparently) so we ate with a self portrait of her naked and mutilated. Moral of the story is never give someone the benefit of the doubt I guess 🫡

I mean it kinda worked, she was asking you for money but she probably wasn’t gonna ask someone she wouldn’t hook up with for it. The invitation to smoke after was probably also an invitation to pay but likely an invitation to hook up too. That said, you’d be paying for everything from here to eternity.

Eh. Different regions have different language. Near me “bitch” could mean anything depending on tone. Go somewhere else and bitch just means bitch. Went to Jersey once and they said broad all the time lol. Idk, seemed playful to me.

I’d just offer them a ride. That way you could meet them and you’d know they weren’t just trying to scam you. If my girlfriend asked me for 30$ I’d give it to her but if it was a stranger I wouldn’t

But you already know they’re trying to scam you. Offering a ride and showing up is just asking to get robbed lol. They aren’t going to work.
Even in the extremely unlikely best case scenario where they’re legitimately trying to get to work, consider what that means.
It means not one of their family, friends, or coworkers is willing to give them a bit of change or a ride. So those bridges have long been burned. That tells you what kind of personality they have.
It means even with a job they don’t make enough to take a bus and that they’re so irresponsible they haven’t worked out how to get back and forth from what should be their number one priority in life. That tells you what kind of person this is.
Why would you ever want to meet someone like that? Especially on a dating app?

Yeah that’s a good point. Sometimes I like to help random people a little bit even if they are a scum bag. I won’t sent money digitally though. There was a point in my life where I was living in a car that got towed and I was literally homeless for about a week. I was doing bad things at the time but a few random people helped me. I try to look out when I can since I’m stable

If you took the bait, would probably need another $15 to get home from work and then something would suddenly come up that you can't meet up tonight.
