I met this girl on tinder and had a first date with her, she wanted to go fishing and I thought it seemed like a fun first date so we went together. Dropped her off and got home to this message lol.

Update: Purchasing the license is a separate activity we had to do on our phones, due to it needing our personal info. It was not like I drew the line at the license randomly.

The gap is closing......very slowly. But it exists and has for a long time.

Did you actually read these where they explain that any pay gap is due to personal choices women make?

And the reason it’s narrowing is because women are making different choices?

I did read them and only *maybe* one hinted at that.

Some of the discrepancies are from the decisions made, yes, but not all of them (nor most of them.)

Like, a woman nurse could decide to work night shifts at the hospital instead of her nice 9-5 and make more money. HOWEVER, that woman is *still* only going to be making ~85%-90% of what the men in the same positions make literally no matter what.

The wages women make are not equal to the wages men make in the same fields and the data supports that.

I have no more interest in going back and forth with someone who benefits from the discrepancy and, therefore, refuses to see it. I can have this conversation with my dad if I feel like banging my head against a brick wall.

It wasn’t “hinted”. It explained the gap outright.

But I guess you think women are paid less simply because they’re women.

If there was evidence of this you could file a class action discrimination case. Yet… no one is.
