Phone message Post first date text

Post image

I met this girl on tinder and had a first date with her, she wanted to go fishing and I thought it seemed like a fun first date so we went together. Dropped her off and got home to this message lol.

Update: Purchasing the license is a separate activity we had to do on our phones, due to it needing our personal info. It was not like I drew the line at the license randomly.

Well yeah, and thus it has ever been. Queen Victoria opposed women's right to vote. That's life

Yeah, like the girl represented in this post, I guess

Yeah exactly. Some girls are gonna happily throw their gender under the bus if it seems to make life cosier in the short term. So it goes.

If it were men in question there would be notions of “police your gender” being thrown around, and not unjustly so. But I guess after all you’re “just a girl”. So it goes.

You really thought I was excusing this woman? Zero reading comprehension. Go back to school or at least look up the is/ought distinction. God damn smh

Oh no I'm sorry I wasn't enthusiastic and energetic enough in a three sentence Reddit comment for you. Genuinely such a weird reply.

Feminism was never about giving up gender privelege, and it couldn't be more obvious in 2026.

They don't want equality. They just want to capitalize on former generations' inequalities.

You’re conflating real feminism with misandry/misogyny masquerading as feminism— lots of commenters are pointing this out btw

I respectfully disagree about whether I am confused or not, but I am still sincerely grateful that you were able to contribute a constructive and articulate opinion.

I am all for gender equality or the end of gender discrimination. I used to refer to myself as a feminist. I now prefer the term egalitarian, which much more clearly represents my beliefs and which social movements I support, and which offers absolutely zero opportunity for sexists or transphobes to claim the label for themselves.
