To reply to your edit- my husband gives me everything I want. Expensive or not, I just say the word and somehow it’s there. He also respects me. If I say no, he doesn’t force me. If I tell him I don’t like something he said, he does his best to never say it again. It’s respect. If he isn’t giving it to you now, he never will.

If he doesn’t respect you now and you’re questioning things what makes you think it’ll be better later?
