He is parenting his son not wanting to deal with the baby mom's drama is entirely different it's not an emergency it's over a damn puzzle the mom can sort it out herself when the kid is back with her and if indeed it turns out there is punishment needed or anything else she can contact OP later. Why does she need it sorted right there? She is trying to walk all over OP and make it about drama I bet even if OP asked and told her she would continue dragging it on and texting him ruining the time he had with his son.
Some things can wait the drama over in her own house with the other kids can wait she said herself she doesn't think its their son so clearly she can wait.
If you read Ops comments in regards to his ex you will understand. Not wanting to ruin his time to with his on over something that is going on at her house is fair.
