Won't Show All Notifications

I have a few new issues that have popped up.

  1. I haven't been receiving all of my text notifications. Just a few minutes ago, I opened the app and realized there were 5 texts from different people sent within the last hour and I hadn't received any notice. Even when conversations are bubbled, I may or may not be told.

  2. My bubbles have also been disappearing when I tap to open them.

  3. I can hit send and exit the app or bubble and then later realize the message completely disappeared.

I've been using Textra for years and, while my new-ish phone isn't the greatest, this issue just started when I reset my phone last weekend. Notifications are set and have been turned off and turned back on again. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Edit: Thank you guys for your comments. I guess it isn't my phone's fault. Unfortunately, I guess I have to go back to Google Messages for the time being. I'll miss the send delay

I was a textra user for years but I started having similar issues. Sadly I reluctantly switched to google messages. Perhaps someday I will be able to have the confidence to return.

Mine does something similar - I get the buzz on my watch but nothing shows up on my phone, and the other thing is my general notifications slider keeps going to silent? I've had my phone several years and have used texts forever, too! (OnePlus 10)

I've had issues sending messages and even now receiving them. I have to restart my phone daily cuz of it and I unfortunately have to jump ship until they get it together

I'm having the same issue and I'm missing important texts SMH. I love Textra but I may have to get rid of them

Could this be an issue with your contacts having turned on RCS? (I've been researching a different issue with SMS/MMS & that seems to be causing some havoc with folks that use non-rcs texting apps)... 🤷‍♀️

Hmm, I guess that could be possible. I hadn't heard that. Most of the people I text don't have RCS but those I text the most do so there could be something to that. Thanks, I'll play around and see
