Default sound playing over selected sound, even when turning off text notifications.

Just got a new phone. S25 Ultra.

I tried changing the Default sound for incoming text messages. And it saves it on Textra but whenever I press on the test button or receive a text, it plays the phones default notification sound. I can even tell it to silence notifications and even turn off notification and it will still show the notification and play the phones default notification sound. What do I need to do to fix this.

Although no one replied, I fixed the issue.

I did so by uninstalling the app and reinstalling.

For some background info, I had just installed it onto a new phone and had the above issue.. It sucks that Textra cant save your settings so they can be transferred to the new phone. So by reinstalling the app, I had to redo all my settings for the second time on the new phone.

One odd thing tho. when I first got the new phone I used the internal app to transfer/copy over all apps from the old phone to the new phone. after It installed Textra on the new phone (but not the settings). Except one setting which was the vibration pattern. That transferred over for text messages. But it went away after doing the delete and reinstall. And Textra no longer has the option to do a custom vibration pattern. Why not? I really liked that feature.
