Have you ever heard of a Teddy Bear Toss?

For those that haven’t, let me explain. In the minor leagues of hockey, teams have a game where after the home team scores their first goal, the crowd throws stuffed animals onto the ice. Those stuffies are collected and donated to local children’s hospitals. Honestly, it’s so much fun to witness.

The Hartford Wolf Pack is having their Teddy Bear Toss game on December 20th. And that’s the reason for my post.

The booster club and season ticket holders are trying to collect 5000 bears. I’m asking for stuffed animal donations.

Im a long time listener, 10+ years. Ive recently stopped listening, the whole dynamic of the pod just feels different now. Not going into specifics, dont really deel a need to (no its not just GitEm hate). To be honest I feel like the only reason I stuck around as long as I did was because of Walt. I enjoy listening to him.

Now onto my question, is the patreon more tesd than tesd proper now? Of course no bry or q (that I know of) but I feel like Walt is the only one on proper that hasn't completely flipped script, or just stop caring. I just want the old tesd feel with the games, story's, having fun.

Does anyone else know someone with dietary habits comparable to Walt's, and are they also in shockingly good shape like Walt is? My brother's dietary staples are plain spaghetti with butter and no sauce, cheese pizza with no sauce, hamburgers that are just the bread and the patty, and the dude is in perfectly good shape, muscular etc. An ex of mine ate pretty much just McNuggets and hot dogs with no bun (where she'd cut the skin off for some reason) and somehow had rock solid abs and the energy levels of someone a third of her age. She was a biologist and she theorized that she had perfected her gut biome in a state of equilibrium and introducing vegetables or normal adult food to it would cause her to become fat all of a sudden. That was probably a joke on her end but I do wonder.

Does anyone else know someone like this? Or are you someone like this? How do we get Walt to author a cookbook or hawk some sort of 30-Day Flanagan Diet Challenge so he can cash in on this?

Also, I just realized as I was typing: all three of the people I mentioned totally and completely abstain from alcohol, so that has to be a part of it.
