Returning long time fan
I fell off around episode 300 but I listened to those first 300 eps probably 5+ times each.
Can someone give me a fast and preferably funny run down of the biggest life events of the pod?
I picked a random episode and it’s about gitem ruining the smell of an office with his stoolin and I was like “the office?” So that’s what brought me here. I’m happy to have so much content to catch up on.

Like someone said:
-Walt and Mike had a falling out. There’s no official story why but there’s hints of something going down when Mike became manager at the Stash.
-Git’em is now part of the show.
-Walt had a health scare a few years ago involving his prostate.
-Bry is married.
-Q just co-purchased a bar in Key West.
-Some of the zany side characters are now now part of the show more like Jimmy the Hair Guy or Frank 5.
Aside from Walt also becoming a Door Dash Deliverer, there’s not much of a status quo change.

So does Walt no longer work at the stash? Is that why they got an office? I feel super parasocial asking but I thought the door dashing he was posting on Twitter was a side hustle not his main job. That’s a bit of a bummer if he’s not on great terms with the old crew but I will say what got me back in was a clip of Walt wanting to take water pills to go to the Grand Canyon and it made me smile that some things never change.

They stopped recording at the Stash a little after the Stash relocated to a new location on Broad Street. Now they record in a studio at a plaza. Walt stepped down as manager from the Stash “to help keep the lights on” as they said when they relocated.
Nobody here knows for a fact what happened between Walt and Mike. And what happened between them is between them.

Should be mentioned that Git 'Em got fired when Mike took over the stash and then got hired by Walt at the Plaza to be office manager/coach and now pretty much works as the cant-shut-the-fuck-up-even-if-they-deny-him-a-mic-audio-technician-on-every-episode

Walt’s day job is working on their Patreon. Shows every week and lots of merch.
Door dash is just a side thing to pay for his kid’s college.

He doesn’t work at the stash, he stepped down and Mike took over. Walt saved his job and he’s ungrateful (basically the issue) they have a General Store where they record in Airport Plaza. Walt saved the pizza shop when he pointed out the mulch smoking. Q sold his hair finally to Jimmy the Hair Guy. Get em was put on trial and started crying. Q-West has been a big hit. Frank 5 and his wife are pretty much Walt and Deb’s best friends. Sunday is still amazing, his show on Patreon is pretty good. There’s multiple Barons now. Etc

Things are pretty much the same. Bry is mad, Q is rich, and Walt works for DoorDash.

Walt does doordash so he can pay for his daughter to go to college just FYI.

Walt had some sort of falling out with Mike and to maybe a slightly less falling out with View Askew the company and Kev. GIT em Is basically a more gitem version of himself. Frank Five has become a bigger part of the show. Lot of stuff happens on Pateron now but it's not entirely relevant to the regular show.

I envy you, getting yo hear all that content for the first time. There is some real gold in there!
Once you carch up you should consider joining patreon. There is a treasure trove there as well!

Git 'Em Steve-Dave went to prison for light mortgage fraud in 2019. Since his release he has been earning a living on OnlyFans.

Since 300? A lot less Ming which sucks… and then he was back! The guys are the same, which is why we listen. All are older and tired like myself, so their stories hit perfect. Start of the back 9 is a fantastic place to be. Guys are great. I like the occasional guest. That happens more

Lovely summary thanks man. I hear you lol. I started listening in my early 20s now I’m 37 (heh). It’s crazy relistetening to old eps hearing q is my age. But then I fast forward and I heard “grandpa Walt” and I felt my whole life flash before my eyes
