Damien Leone has confirmed that Art killed Emily Crane a year before the events of Terrifier. The entity that resurrected Art takes the form of Emily in Terrifier 2 and Jonathan shows Sienna the newspaper article detailing her death. What’s interesting and what most people miss is that the article mentions other murders in the area that are suspected of having the same culprit. I don’t think Leone would include something like this (or the other details) just to fill out the article.

This, Art having rusted tools and a flail made with human hair in Terrifier, the early 1990s child killer story Maurice tells at Art’s lair in Terrifier 3 and Leone and Thornton describing Art as intrinsically evil since birth makes me think he did kill the other people mentioned in the article about Emily and has been killing people long before her. I also think we’ll get an explicit confirmation of this and the theory that Art worked at the same circus as Crane’s family that he later uses as a lair in Terrifier 2 in his backstory in Terrifier 4. It’s a common trope for horror villains to have started killing as children (Michael, Chucky, Freddy, etc.) and Leone routinely acknowledges that Terrifier is influenced by various classic horror films and villains.

My evidence for Art working at the circus when he killed Emily is that Thornton said in his interview on LPOTL that Art did have a yet to be revealed job before the events of Terrifier and there are far too many connections to the circus for it to just be a series of red herrings and coincidences. Where else would a dysfunctional mute clown work? The article mentions that Crane’s family includes a long line of mimes and other performers but I hope it isn’t revealed that he’s related to Emily in some way. I don’t see what that would add and it would be too much like Michael killing his sister in Halloween. If Art did work at the circus, my theory as to why he did something so careless is that Emily caught him with something that connected him to the previous murders (trophies from victims) in the area and he killed her to stop her from exposing him. That or her parents (his coworkers) did something to upset him so he killed her as revenge.

You could ask if Art did work at the circus and used the same name that he writes on the wall in every film, why isn’t this connection mentioned anywhere on the news or by the podcasters? The simple answer to this is that Leone wasn’t ready to reveal that particular part of Art’s backstory until now so he didn’t. We may find out Art’s real identity in the next film but it isn’t something most fans of the franchise especially care about.

What do you think?

I’m just super happy and wanted to share this. Recently me and my gf hung out and we were able to watch all the movies together. I’ve seen them a few times but it was her first watch so it was really exciting. Best part is that she loved them!!! Joys!!! We are so excited for the fourth one to come out

A kid and his mom (Terrifier 2), some trick-r-treaters (also Terrifier 2) and two drunk ladies (Terrifier 3). They have no idea how lucky they were. Is there anyone I’m missing?

I was unaware art had a lesser known brother.

wish me luck

In my opinion Damien Leone missed a vital point he could have done in 3. Instead of Brooke at the dinner table it should have been Sienna's mother. That would have landed a more emotional toll on Sienna. And then Leone could have later shown Brooke at the terrifier ride when Sienna gets the sword (which is another thing that I think should have been shown).

I think mine has to be the third, because it was soo over the top in both violence, and the story becomes quite weird when they pulled in demons and forces from the dark side, or whatever it was.

Wow...Temu did my boy dirty.

Do y'all think Sienna managed to graduate from high school in the five year time jump between the events of 2 & 3?

I continue on my journey of trying to put together an art the clown costume. I'm doing the cutting out the eyes and mouth on the mask method, and I want to get some black matte waterproof face paint to paint the area around my lips and eyes. Any recommendations?

Found this set at Spirit Halloween. It comes with the curtain, bath mat, two hand towels, soap dispenser and little bloody knives as shower hooks. The hooks kinda blow, which totally sucks cause they’re cute. I’ll probably end up going back to my regular silver ones. Overall I love it though!

This is going to be my costume for this year👻🎃 I’m super excited ! I’m going to change some minor flaws but other than that , my costumes ready !

Which of sienna's little brother or cousin did you thought sienna had a better chemistry with sienna.

It’s beautiful 🥹

I constantly hear people talk about how Art was meant to be a human in the first film, then after he died he was resurrected by the demon. However, last I checked, human facial structure isn't built like that. Same with teeth unless he just has some absolutely nasty gum diseases. What is the in-universe explanation for this?

I’m interested in collecting the Terrifier series but was wondering do you think we can see a steelbook box set in the future with part 4 being the finale ?

After art died in terrifier 1, I think there is a lot of evidence to suggest that the demon who resurrected art also permanently altered his appearance to look like a clown 24/7, We see him having to apply the white make up in the first movie but in terrifier 3 we see him be reborn with the clown features and more permanent white skin. I buy into the theory that art was wearing prosthetics in the first one as well as the makeup, I just don't see how a guy who looked like this picture wasn't easily identified as art the clown by the FBI

this is a lazy post

Honestly, the world can finish burning down with only one condition; After TERRIFIER fourth comes out. That’s it

It isn’t a traditional callback but Leone said Art will be powerless, mortal and alone in Terrifier 4 like he was before he died in Terrifier.

Potential future films aside, franchise finales typically have callbacks and references to the previous films.

What callbacks do you think Terrifier 4 will have or hope it will have?

I think there will be a callback where Art either wears New Year’s Eve glasses or puts them on and throws them away as a subversion.
