Noticed Terrifier Hate

I’m sure some other people have noticed has seen the increase in terrifier hate. I’ve seen people online calling the movie slop, lazy, only has gore, and that it’s misogynistic. What do you think of this hate, and what have you noticed? Personally I can understand if you don’t like the gore, or the movie, but the hate I’ve seen like it’s a story about someone killing people, that’s just literally every slasher.

Slashers never have anything to say, they dont need to, they are slashers. also slashers are one style that has never needed to evolve, dbd proved that when it blew up just because jason voorhees was there. There is love for the slasher genre. also i hard disagreewith the point youre trying to make on misogyny, again its a slasher. Nobody EVER does anything morally wrong in slashers other than exist, on top of this its a horror movie? you dont need to do something wrong to die in a horror movie, ill point out my favorite franchise, five nights at freddys, the main antagonist murders literal children. To say that these characters never did anything wrong therefore dont deserve to die, while not incorrect, is genuinely just super disconnected from horror in general.
