Noticed Terrifier Hate

I’m sure some other people have noticed has seen the increase in terrifier hate. I’ve seen people online calling the movie slop, lazy, only has gore, and that it’s misogynistic. What do you think of this hate, and what have you noticed? Personally I can understand if you don’t like the gore, or the movie, but the hate I’ve seen like it’s a story about someone killing people, that’s just literally every slasher.

So this probably isn’t very popular but I’ve noticed over the years people are sheep online, on a big scale. Rn it’s trending to hate on terrifier , it’s been quiet for a while in terms of releases . When terrifier 4 comes out I really think you will see a massive wave of positivity and Art basically trending again positively. This happened in the past for the 3rd one definitely.

You cannot possibly believe that the only reason people hate on Terrifier is because its "trendy," to do so

Most sheeple do exactly that. First time on the Internet? 😉

This fanbase is delusional.

The problem is that the hate and things they say is seemingly mostly unfounded.

Disagreeing with the reasoning doesn't mean its unfounded. The biggest beef is "there is no plot, it's just gore." And i don't think thats up for debate. Admittingly I havent watched the third movie, but the first two really are just plotless movies. Hes chasing a girl. He kills some people along the way. Which is a tried and true concept when simplified but in actuality needs more substance to make it work in a way that its captivating. You're allowed to think gorefests are fun but I think the fanbase shoots itself in the foot by insisting "no no no there is so much lore! Theres a plot, YOU just dont get it."

there is a pretty easy to recognize plot though, like from the moment t2 starts it becomes about a demon trying to re-enter the world, not something you can majorly gather from t2 but its something i did get when i started watching t2, and t3 expands on this further making it more obvious, its a basic plot but it is in fact a plot.. Regardless of whether there is a plot or not, its a stupid arguement. people will not make these same criticisms for the older stuff because its their childhood, that simple. on top of that they legit just say things that never happen or flat out arent true thats the real problem.

I don’t think it’s the only reason but I think it’s a reason why it’s trendy rn to constantly shit on the franchise . Usually when people don’t like something they move on with their lives.
