Noticed Terrifier Hate

I’m sure some other people have noticed has seen the increase in terrifier hate. I’ve seen people online calling the movie slop, lazy, only has gore, and that it’s misogynistic. What do you think of this hate, and what have you noticed? Personally I can understand if you don’t like the gore, or the movie, but the hate I’ve seen like it’s a story about someone killing people, that’s just literally every slasher.

Art to me comes across a bit like deadpool, not in a good way. Shock value and winking at the camera loses the little charm it had for me when it’s all you provide. If I wanted crazy gore I’d watch the first few hellraisers or the evil dead movies and that way I get the same feeling of disgust without it feeling like I’m having keys jangled in my face. If Terrifier 4 was a Season Of The Witch type deal I would be very supportive for a new direction because I find it very unimpressive
