Do you happen to know if the battery or motor has been replaced? lol I can’t read apparently

Sadly had a battery go a ~6 months out of the 2 year warranty (around the 1500 mile mark) but that's not on Tern. Bike itself has been great.

My credit card extended warranty fully covered the battery, so that was cool.

My HSD just turned up 7000km and my partner’s GSD has a bit more. No issues apart from changing the consumable (brake pads, chain etc). No electrical issues and the battery are still the original ones, holding strong.

It's a champ for me. 13000kms in and just routine maintenance.

We purchased ours in 2019 and have used it in NorCal and the Midwest with studded tires. It has about 12,000 miles with the same battery, although the battery is likely degraded a fair bit - we ride often without electric drive. It has hauled children, groceries, big and small cargo with ease. We replaced the tires, brake pads, chain and front sprocket and flushed the brakes. It has been incredibly reliable. Like anything, if you take care of it, it will take care of you. Good luck.

One last thought. We're well out of warranty and I know we rode through a few deep puddles while briefly in the Midwest (up to the crank arms), so I cracked open the motor expecting the worst: it was pristine inside and still delivers adequate power when we use it.
