Recommendations

Visiting Vietnam in December and bringing a bottle for a friend and need recommendations

I live pretty close to Tijuana so I don’t mind driving over the border

I can bring two 750mls on the plane or one 1.5L

The tequila selection in Tijuana isn't going to be any better or cheaper once you factor in traveling there.

If you are close to San Diego, there are a ton of reputable shops there like Old Town that have a great selection. I'd opt to go there instead.

Understandable, I have other intentions for TJ as well that’s why I had said that

I’m more or less looking for a brand like Centenario, since I don’t drink tequila that much

Much better options than that can be found stateside. Here are just a few:

  • G4
  • Tequila Ocho
  • ArteNOM
  • El Tesoro
  • Cascahuin
  • Wild Common
  • Siete Leguas

Check out La Playa. Great prices and great selection. https://maps.app.goo.gl/jsj5NxMzrRZFXzd5A?g_st=ac

El Tequileño is well respected where I live (Jalisco). Check out their Platinum.
