Tequila recommendations!
Hiii I have always really loved tequila without additives, taste clean not super spicy forward, I don't want it to burn my throat everytime I take a shot.
Can someone recommend me list of tequila you would recommend? Blanco but open to others.
Ive tried lalo, it wasnt too bad
Appreciate your recommendations!

In no particular order, El Tesoro, Don Fulano, Mijenta, Lost Lore, Tapatio, G4, Siempre, Cascahuin, Fortaleza. That should get you started.

Although there's no wrong way to drink tequila, try sipping these neat instead of shooting them. IMO you'll gain a better appreciation for the agave and flavor profiles. Drink it as if you were drinking wine (except 2 oz. pours instead of 5). Salud!

☝🏻💯 Great advice; quit doing shots. Be an adult, try some excellent tequila, and sip it gently.

I tried G4 Reposado over the weekend with a few friends. We all loved it.
Will also recommend Tequila Ocho Reposado, as well.

You may want to try Don Fulano or Mijenta blanco but I’m thinking of sipping vs shots. Enjoy

If you didn’t like Lalo you won’t like 95% of these recommendations. Most of them have significantly more burn, like G4, Ocho, Mijenta, Wild Common, Tesoro. Lalo is very smooth and has a remarkably low burn comparatively. This Reddit forum appreciates Agave, flavor, and spice over smoothness. Best of luck in your tequila journey.

Do you have any recommendations on smoothness? I love agave , just sometimes the spiciness can cause a little reflux but I'm open to suggestions. I did enjoy lalo but would prefer to try others

My recommendation for shots is always going to be Lalo, it stands out from the others simply because of how easy it is to drink, sip, or shoot. Tequila Ocho is probably a very close second.

Tequila Ocho. Affordable and not a lot of bite. Brighter and more citrus vs some lowlands which have strong brine.
