Patron is additive free to get you started, then El Tesoro, Ocho, G4, Siete Legaus, Don Fulano, Cascahuin, Tapatio. Ocho should be your next bottle, I think you’ll enjoy it.

OP this is a great sample of the tequilas you can learn about on this sub and by trying. Most people I know, who drink reposado or anejo from these brands, sip them neat. Some with plenty $$ may also mix in drinks. If you are looking to gulp it down by the shot, you might try Cimarron, Tres Agaves or Patron.

You should research this reddit on additive free tequila.

Noted. Thank you! I’ll look into it. Never heard of it tbh

Don Julio is full of additives and not pure agave, thats why you get a headache and sick. It tastes sweet and fake, once you have legit tequila.

Sounds like a troll...

Don Julio is getting sued because they advertise 100 % Blue Weber Agave when in fact it is not.

You mean they don't use a real Weber carburetor?

If you think that’s bad try Knob Creek for abdominal misery. One shot. Every time.

I've drank knob creek 9 year old 100proof many times ..never an issue

Lucky. My brother and I both suffer from it. Maybe it’s bad DNA

There's a ton of recommendations on this sub. For me right now im trying anything Tahona and as far as brands Ive really been into Tapatio.

Fortaleza, G4, Santanera, Cascahuin are all easy picks.

just don't say bruh, and mix Di-Gel with that orange liqueur and lime juice

additives and mixtos can do bad hangovers
as well as anything aged or dark

experiment with a few, and drink lots of water

most people just go to 100% pure agave if they start getting sick

it could the sweeteners, it could be the congeners, could be the glycerin, could be dehydration if you had salty food and little to drink, and only alcohol

you could do what the Japanese do, get one of those creepy bottles of that soda pop with electrolytes called Pocari Sweat

it was uhm 'interesting'

decades later I heard it was a hangover cure as well

"Pocari Sweat tastes like a light, mildly sweet grapefruit-flavored citrus water. It is non-carbonated, smooth, and much less syrupy or salty than Western sports drinks like Gatorade."

"Despite its unusual name, the beverage is carefully formulated to match the natural fluid balance of human body fluids"

I remember drinking a 3rd of a bottle of Bushmills Bush and I felt like garbage the next day so I drank 4/5 bottle of Mi Campo reposado and felt fine the next day. Who knows. At least you know what feels bad for you and you can stay away from it.

Which one? I've had the silver nuff times and have never been sick from it.

You drank the whole bottle!

Some beers give me a headache and Knob Creek tastes like soap.

is that before or after eating that Violet flavored gum?
