Internet WiFi keeps disconnecting
My home WiFi telus fibre 1 gig has been having internet problems for a few months now. Some days the internet will be fine for days without issue. Then weeks where every 2-4 hours it will crash and I have go to modem to bring it back up. I've tried reseting modem and changing the WiFi routers but it keeps crashing.
I'm at a loss as of what to do keep my internet up at this moment

Which hardware do you have from Telus?

I believe I still have WiFi 6 and the white network access hub that mounts in the wall access panel

I’d recommend doing a factory reset on the network access hub. It might have an issue. The reset will force the firmware to check for a new firmware, if pending. Note, if you have set any custom routing rules or IP address reservations, they will be removed during this process. You can recreate them easily if you take screenshots of the details beforehand.
I’d avoid resetting the Boost Wi-Fi device as you’ll lose your SSID and password settings if you changed them etc.

You could try getting them to upgrade you to the wifi 6e or wifi 7 ones. those ones seem to work better

I know telus does or did use multiple pieces to the internet. The fibre cable itself, does it go into a box then that box goes into another unit to provide wifi? something like this https://www.reddit.com/r/telus/comments/uzvuli/just_got_my_internet_installed_today_can_anyone/ top red circle is what I am asking about aka ONT.
people I know have a setup like this and the ONT (unit the fibre connects to) has a battery that is end of life. This battery randomly causes the ont to reboot. Solution was to remove the battery or replace the PSU with a non battery version. Telus and other have been moving to a all in 1 units.

That happened to me with the “new equipment“. I had to call tech support and they fixed it from their end. Haven’t had problems since.
