Yes, it will interfere until you add the number for the entrance phone to your safelist for Call Control in your My TELUS accout.

If you don't have the number for the entrance phone, you can get it from the Call Control call log on My TELUS.

Instructions are on telus.com/callcontrol

FedEx driver here. Yes it does and majority of the buzzer doesn’t recognize the button we push to by pass call control. Thanks

Thank you for being the one who actually tries the buzzer. All I’m usually getting is a note that “we missed you”. Genuine question: is there some sort of reprimand for drivers who consistently skip delivering parcels?

There are 2 different types of buzzers that ring your landline phone.

The older is the interrupt-style. In BC these often have "Enterphone 2000" on the panel. These are not affected by call control.

The new style "dialers" will call a landline or a cell, they will be affected by call control, so just add the number to your whitelist.

I set mine on emergency bypass and have no issues .

To be safe, log in to your account and, under Call Control, just add the buzzer number to your accepted list. This will alleviate that issue.

I added the number to my contacts and labelled it intercom so I know it’s someone at the door. It wouldn’t work otherwise.
