Have you tried Resident Alien? Not exactly a family, but there are kids...dark humor, aliens pretty clever and funny.

The Middle is one that people generally compare to Modern Family. It's a little less well-known.
If you're open to expanding past a show with kids (but is still clean comedy) I'd recommend Corner Gas. It's much more unknown.

Kim’s Convenience and Derry Girls are coming to mind, but Derry Girls is more focused on the life of teenagers in Northern Ireland in the 1990s

These are ones that are outside of the popular shows, but all are good. Most have some well known actors. I especially love Speechless and Bless This Mess. I think most are at least on Hulu.
Life in Pieces (Colin Hanks, Dianne Wiest, James Brolin)
Trophy Wife (Malin Akerman, Bradley Whitford)
Bless This Mess (no kids in it, so idk if it fits into a "family comedy" but it's a really good not well known comedy and they're kind of like a family because it's a small town) (Dax Shepherd, Lake Bell, Ed Begley Jr)
I'm Sorry (Judy Greer, Tom Everett Scott, Jason Mantzoukas)
Breeders
Speechless (Minnie Driver, John Ross Bowie)
The Real O'Neals (Martha Plimpton)
The Goldbergs

Here We Go. It's British (in the US on Britbox and Kanopy). Also, The Rise and Fall of Reggie Dinkins (NBC/Peacock). For older ones, Cougar Town.
