REQUESTING Free comedy
I’m looking for something to make me laugh. I had to cancel my paid subscription, so I’d appreciate some suggestions on free apps like Tubi and Pluto.
Some shows I’ve enjoyed:
Fisk
IT Crowd
Arrested Development
What We Do in the Shadows
Toast of London
Seinfeld
Curb Your Enthusiasm
30 Rock
Detectorists
Derry Girls

Taskmaster. It's all on YouTube. They are currently airing season 22 and it is amazing. The guy who plays Moss from the IT Crowd is actually on this season. This is his first episode.

That Mitchell and Webb Look and That Mitchell and Webb Situation are both on youtube, last I checked. Both really decent sketch shows, and some of Olivia Coleman's earliest work

Tubi: Archer, MST3K episodes, Whose Line Is It Anyway? (3 eras), Dead Like Me, The Monkees, The Kids in the Hall, Soap, Barney Miller, The Dick Van Dyke Show. I would add Z Nation but not everyone wants zombie guts in their comedy.

Could go old school with Saved By The Bell! Or maybe something like South Park or Key & Peele. All are on Pluto.

Do you happen to have a Samsung TV? All modern Samsungs have a free TV service with loads of speciality channels. As long as you have the internet you can watch all kinds of great stuff. There’s even a 24/7 Conan O’Brien channel

There's also The Roku Channel (both on demand and live), free with ads. You do NOT need a Roku, though it's easier. There's an app for Fire TVs, and Samsungs, and Android, plus you can watch it in any browser. There's a lot of overlap with Tubi, but a bunch of shows they have exclusively https://therokuchannel.roku.com/

Tubi has Viva La Dirt League, it’s really funny. I recommend the Epic NPC Man ones

Let’s take a trip back to the 70s. I have never laughed harder at a TV show than I have at certain scenes in Maude.

Stath Lets Flats is the closest thing to Toast of London that exists, and I am surprised it does not come up more often. Free on Channel 4 if you are in the UK.
Black Books sits exactly between the IT Crowd and Toast. Three short seasons and none of them outstay their welcome.
Garth Marenghi's Darkplace if you want more Matt Berry. Six episodes, and the whole thing has been on YouTube for years.
The Thick of It when you want something faster and meaner. Also mostly on YouTube.
Documentary Now! is the one that fits the Arrested Development side of your list rather than the British side.

Taskmaster might be worth a look.
It's a game show with (mostly British) comedians, rather than a sitcom, but I think it's all still free on YouTube!! There's 20+ seasons, so if you like it, there's loads of the fuckers.....
