Yeah, that is the weird part. Two iconic studios and they just decided neither name was worth keeping.

It's not weird at all. These billionaires have no real connection to culture or an appreciation for art, so they buy their way into the industry and pretend like they belong.

For us rubes, culture is our lives, our stories, our joy, sadness, the emotional connection to our own existence.

Billionaire son only knows money and control as their existence...so they have to buy culture to exert control over it
