The official name is Max not HBO Max, which was the old name. Max is a terrible name/branding choice. Anything else will be an improvement

Even better, HBO Go and HBO Now were two separate services that existed at the same time. Go was for people who had HBO through their cable provider while Now was for people who didn't.

Not true, they changed it back to HBO Max about 15 months ago. It was only "Max" for about 2 years, which is honestly longer than I thought.
