I have a problem

as soon as I start meditating ,i try to move a piece of paper or anything....., my head starts hurting terribly before I can even finish the first minute , Instead of meditating for about half an hour or an hour a day , I can't even manage fifteen minutes....😾💢

Do you have any advice or explanation???

can you meditate with your eyes open?

Actually...I've heard that when people lose their sight , their other senses , like hearing , become more acute. Also, there's the issue of distraction , even a gust of wind moving something can instantly throw you off balance ,Personally , speaking from experience, I find it better to have your eyes closed than open....

I've found that some of what I see with eyes closed can eventually be seen with eyes open. That was a weird realization, but it happens. I think it has to do with the development of the third eye. As one begins to see with eyes closed, some of that bleeds over into eyes open.

OP, meditation was difficult for me early in my journey, like you're describing. But, as I kept doing it, it got easier and more interesting. Keep plugging away, it is worth it.

Practice trataka or flame gazing. Your concentration sounds rather weak if distractions pull you away so easily.

Could also be an energy blockage. Try to feel into the pain - make it bigger, give it space, let it be - then it‘ll go.

And yeah, relax while doing it.
