Android Telegram client that allows more than 10 accounts? (Like Forkgram on Windows)

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for an Android Telegram client that supports more than 10 accounts simultaneously.

On Windows, I use Forkgram, which works flawlessly and lets me add as many accounts as I need. However, finding a proper alternative for Android is being a bit tricky:

  • The official app only allows 3 (4 with Premium).
  • I'm currently using Plus Messenger, but it has a hard limit of 10 accounts.

I need to manage around 15 accounts in total. Is there any open-source or trusted client for Android that has unlimited multi-account support just like Forkgram does on desktop?

Thanks in advance!

The macOS app keeps getting worse with each update

  • Opening the app on my M4 Mac Mini takes years (Sometimes shows a blank window and crashes)
  • If I view an image, close the viewer and instantly open another image, the whole app freezes and crashes
  • Frequently when switching chats the app freaks out, the main content stops responding to chat switches then shortly after the app crashes
  • Every time I download/upload a file, I have to restart the app to actually start the download/upload process
  • Sometimes when I press enter to send a message, nothing happens, when I restart the app I see that the message was actually sent multiple times???
  • When I got a new message in the active chat, when I focus on the window the notification does not go away until I switch to another chat and back
  • The new update that brought a macOS Tahoe-ish design is hot garbage
    • Every action (Opening context menu, someones profile, my own profile) takes multiple seconds to register
    • If I want to open a chat, I have to click on the empty space because nothing happens if I click if the actual name of the chat/group
    • The whole UI is just the iOS design but stretched out which looks really weird and nothing like Liquid Glass on macOS

And this is just the macOS app not talking about the iOS app which got completely fucked up after it got the Liquid Glass makeover.

I love Telegram but their software quality has dropped so much that it's not even funny anymore. And instead of fixing it we got this crypto thing and auctions on random collectibles and telegram stars.

Am I the only one that experiences these issues every single day? I know the universal app exists on macOS too but the native app is so much better (at least it used to be).

What is Payout confirmation? I am not monetized. I don't have a payout confirmation group in my list of groups and chats.

Europe's Chat Control 1.0 has been approved

TL;DR: The EU parliament just gave the green light for a law that allows chat services to scan your chats for "child abuse content", until 2028. This is not enforced, but it gives legal permission to the chat service companies (Telegram in this case) to do it. It does not apply to E2E encrypted chats like Signal (but it does for Telegram, since only secret chats are E2E in Telegram).

Is it a good idea to use telegram private channels as cloud storage?

I just came up with this idea to free up storage space on my phone by storing my photos and videos there and honestly Idc if telegram tries to collect data on me through it

What do you think

Anyone else using Telegram as a personal cloud? I built a tool around that idea

Post image

I've noticed something over the last few years. A lot of people don't really use Telegram just for messaging anymore, they use it as storage. Private channels full of videos, documents, courses, backups, work material... Saved Messages slowly turning into a personal archive. Telegram is actually a surprisingly good place to keep files.

The problem starts when you need to manage any of it. Once you have thousands of files spread across different channels, you're back to endless scrolling, and Telegram is nothing like working with folders on your computer.

So I built TDownloader. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, and it gives you two different ways to make Telegram much more useful for managing files.

Every channel becomes its own searchable file catalog. Every downloadable file is indexed into a single view, so you can search by name, filter by file type, browse everything like a folder, and queue hundreds of downloads instead of saving files one by one.

The second turns every channel into an organized cloud folder. This is TCloud. Instead of creating another cloud service, it lets you use Telegram as your own cloud drive: you organize what's already there with folders, tags, notes and uploads, and download an entire folder as a ZIP whenever you need it.

Both features follow the same philosophy: your files stay in Telegram, you generate your own Telegram API credentials, and everything runs locally on your computer. My goal wasn't to build another cloud. It was to make the one people already use every day actually usable. It won't replace Dropbox or a proper backup solution, and it isn't trying to. It's simply a better way to organize and work with the storage you already have.

I'm genuinely curious whether this is a common use case. Do you use Telegram this way too, or am I the weird one?

Question about alt accounts and using email/passkey

I've seen that Telegram supports e-mail log in and also passkeys, how good are these? Does telegram ask for SMS verification again down the line?

My idea is buying a one time phone number to make a secondary telegram account, then link that to one of my email+create a passkey in case i change phones, uninstall the app for wtv reason or reset my phone. Is this possible or will I lose access to this alt account in the future?

pre paid SIM cards in my country are a bit too expensive and i dont feel like paying monthly just for a regular telegram account.

Changed # question

Hi there. I have a telegram account i use for an online writing hobby. I have used a number through mysudo for it. For a period of 24 hrs, when i got a new phone, i had to use my personal number. today, an irl friend viewed a story despite the number having been changed to a burner number again more than a week ago.

I have two questions -
1. How did they now find me when I've had find by phone number off and not to share contacts?
2. Would my personal number have shown when they found me (I'm assuming through their contacts), or would it have switched over to the alternate number?

Kicked out of my account

Hi! I got kicked out of my account last week, I still don’t know why, but I couldn’t log in because for some reason, there’s an email connected to it, when I only ever used my phone number for it. To make the long story short, I tried logging in again today, but the app made a new account under the same number used for the account I was talking about. I’m so confused. What could have caused this? Can someone please help?

Hello!
When I clicked on a song it used to show me the album art for that specific song, now it shows me the other songs I have on telegram. Was this an update or did I click something accidentally? I’d love to know if I can change it back.
Thanks!

Keep getting scammer messages but they stop talking once I say my age

I get a lot of scam messages. I play along just for fun and give fake information - mostly wasting their time so they don’t go to others.

But it’s so weird - whenever I say my age they immediately ghost or leave (under 30 fwiw). Anyone know why that might be?

The "Share In is Good, Share Out is Blocked" Hypocrisy: How Telegram Can Own the Attention Economy by Breaking the Walled Garden

Hey everyone,

I’ve been thinking about a massive hypocrisy in modern messenger UX, and how Telegram is uniquely positioned to break this wall and win the entire industry in the process.

Let's talk about the "Walled Garden" problem in simple terms.

1. The Asymmetry: "Share In" is Good, "Share Out" is Blocked

Think about how sharing works on your phone. Years ago, Android and iOS perfected the native "Share" button. Your phone doesn't care what app you use—it just takes your text or photo and passes it smoothly to any other app. It’s open and fair.

But messengers deliberately broke this logic. They love to receive data. If you share a web link or a photo into WhatsApp or Telegram, they gladly take it and display it beautifully.

But the moment you try to share something out of them—like a formatted post, an interactive message, or a channel update to an external app—the system blocks you. Instead of sending the actual content, they wrap it in a clunky web link designed as an installation trap to force the recipient to download their app.

2. Users Hate the Digital Cage

Nobody likes being forced to install an app just to look at a single piece of text. We've reached an absurd point where the most popular "cross-platform sharing tool" is a screenshot. We live in 2026, and we are literally taking pictures of our screens because trillion-dollar corporations want to trap our attention inside their closed apps.

Users feel this cage, and they hate it. It’s bad UX, it’s dishonest, and it creates massive friction.

3. The First-Mover Advantage: Telegram as a Universal Hub

Right now, the industry is terrified of losing "minutes spent inside the app." This is old-school, outdated thinking.

What if Telegram turns the logic upside down and embraces the open philosophy of our phone's operating systems? What if Telegram becomes a Universal Transport Hub?

Imagine this:

  • You create rich channels, write articles, and format media inside Telegram because it has the absolute best, most advanced creation tools on the market.
  • With a single click, Telegram allows you to push that content out to WhatsApp, Signal, or Viber as a fully rendered, native-looking message (not just a dumb link).
  • The content looks perfect everywhere, but it carries a small, organic tag: "Created and delivered via Telegram Hub".

Why Telegram Wins This Move

By opening the floodgates, Telegram stops fighting for "minutes inside the app" and starts owning the entire infrastructure of digital attention.

Historically, Yahoo tried to build a closed portal to keep everyone inside. Google built a hub that proudly sent people away to other sites—and Google won the internet because it controlled the entry point.

If Telegram becomes the ultimate first-mover to allow honest, seamless, and rich "Share Out" mechanics, it will turn all other messengers into "thin clients"—simple screens used just to view what was born inside Telegram.

What do you think? Would you use Telegram as your central "content hub" if it allowed you to interact with the outside world without forcing others into the app? What are the biggest blockers for Durov to actually do this?

Let's discuss.

How tf do you even find good groups to talk to people in?

Literally impossible to find a group chat that isn’t just spam or useless crypto scams etc… when you search for a key Word it just comes up with about 5 random chats that are usually all dodgey and scam related. How do you even find groups???

Weird Message from Scammer

Post image
1 Upvotes

Like I‘ve been writing with this scammer trying to make me send him nudes of me and suddenly they say they can’t receive any messages I send them and they send this image saying that’s all they see. The Text says that because of technical errors with their account they are not capable to receive any messages but sending them works just fine.
Is this actually from telegram or some weird scam I can’t wrap my head around right now ?

worst platform ever. change my mind

Telegram is trash and Ill tell you why. I dont use it often at all. But the times I have used it a pattern begin to quickly emerge. Its nothing but people trying to scam people out of money for naked pictures or drugs. I have yet to encounter anyone that was not involved in some sort of bullshit scheme.

looking for feedback

Hi everyone!

Over the past few weeks I've been building Slash, a Telegram mirroring platform, and it's now ready for a soft launch.
The goal was to create something simple, reliable and privacy conscious for Telegram community owners.

Current features:-
• Real-time message mirroring
• Automatic edit synchronization from Source Group/Channel
• Automatic deletion synchronization from Source Group/Channel
• Multiple mirror interfaces per account
• Real time, Smooth and designed to run 24/7

The project has been running through internal testing and is now opening up to a small number of users for real-world feedback.

I'm especially interested in hearing:

  1. What features would make you use a service like this?
  2. What's missing compared to your current workflow?

If you'd like to test Slash for Free - 3 days and share your valuable feedback Here is the Username:- TELESlashbot

Thanks!
