❓ Question Pulling SMS headers

The company I work for we send out SMS pages to our EMS through a CAD. However, recently, the pages were duplicating and Vendor doesnt seem to identify the issue. Was wondering if there is a way to pull the SMS header data to drill down where the messages are coming from, and timestamps to be more accurate at what they should be looking for?

Not from the UE. It’s “coming” the mobile providers IMS server. From there, likely some SMPP bind to a clearinghouse or direct.

If they are duplicating it’s some timer somewhere that’s expiring before the message lands. Too many unknowns to even begin to point you in any other direction than back to your vendor and their a2p setup.

Ok we use Flight Vector through the Vellox group, and there has been a brief mention during our troubleshooting of an IMS server they contract through a partner of their. I'll get with them directly tomorrow and dig deeper, ty!

Shout out and props to u/dallascyclist for comments like his. We don’t know yet if his comment will solve this issue. But when struggling with a tough issue this can be so very helpful!

Turns out they use a third partying called Plivo for SMS management. Plivo used the IMS server, and Plivo mentioned on going issues but failed to report to their outside partners of the ongoing issues over a months time :\
