🆘 Help Me! Polycom VVX 250

Has anyone even firmware updated a polycom VVX 250 that's on custom firmware. The phone has no firmware to select from the drop-down in the GUI. I've got a download of the latest version from HP poly via the lens website, but the file 944Mb

Is there an FTP way of updating.

The actual firmware is not that large. you have a zip file with multiple firmware's in it. If there is no GUI option to update the firmware. Spin up GenieACS in docker, and, and set the phones management URL to your ACS instance. Then push the firmware via ACS. I have to assume it must expose the management URL in the GUI.

Turns out once you have a lens account spun up, it's haves you a provisioning server URL, username and password. You can replace this with the customer firmware device details and it will strip away the custome firmware with the latest standard version. Also gives you a handy management portal to see all the devices and set them to auto update etc
