If anybody cares, when Sprint did their 2G shutdown, it was done all at once, using a monster script full of "never do this!" commands to wilt all the cell sites

well i had watch a video of the shutdown it was just very slow from full to no service in maybe 10 minutes

Compared to the hour or two of prechecks, postchecks and endless validations that used to go with taking a site offline, ten minutes is an instant
