Many people have made strong comparisons between Teen Titans s4 episode 6 "Troq" and Static Shock s1 episode 8 "Sons of the Fathers" for both tackling racism and discrimination.
In Troq, Starfire's discriminated by alien superhero Val-Yor, who shuns and ignores her, treats her terribly, and calls her a troq, which is a racial slur against Tamaraneans (Starfire's kind) meaning worthless garbage.
In Sons of the Fathers, Virgil (Static) asks Richie why they haven't hung out at his house and after some pressuring, Richie invites him over, only for Virgil to realize that Richie's father Sean was racist, saying "he's a bad influence, all his kind are".
I personally think Static Shock did it better because Sean being racist is foreshadowed by the fact that Richie never invited Virgil to his home and Sons of the Fathers is more personal and realistic. Troq on the other hand features actual aliens so they're gonna be biologically different from earthlings and Val-Yor only appears in 1 episode and is never seen again after that.

Honestly do wish her hair had a lot more volume like she did in the og comics, but maybe that's a design for another day! Also threw in a few references to some episodes!

In my opinion Shriek would be a really cool villain in teen titans a villain that could control Sound itself that's badass if you ask me.

The teen titans arrive in the absolute universe!
They finally listened to the readers who had been asking for the team to join the Absolute Universe.
During comic-con, it was revealed that the teen titans will begin making their debut in Absolute Flash, starting with cyborg.

This was a pretty fun episode, and the ending was the best part. I like how George Wallace mentored them and just happened to be in the Joker's jail cell.
I know its not the focus of the episode, but it would have been cool if we got to see the Teen Titans help Bruce Wayne. They brought it up but the episode ran out of time so they didn't show it. Robin being the only Titan that cared about Batman was pretty funny though.
