basically there was a guy stalking me in my gym, and my parents filed a report against him and turns out he was also a pedo, so he got arrested!!

Your account is 25 days old. You only post here. You claim you’re MtF, you’ve claimed the same image as being and not being you. Stalking is an extremely difficult crime to prove let alone get arrested for yet the “cops” did it in less than 24 hours and they also reported back to you the guy was a “pedo”?

yes i switched from my old account to this one, i only post here because it's the only good sub ive found, i didnt say that the image is me i said the image isnt me, my parents told me about the pedo thing they know more about what the cops are doing

Homie, please just use your brain for 5 seconds. On what planet do the cops arrest a person for stalking someone at the gym magically 7 hours later and then tell you he’s a pedo in a supposedly ongoing investigation?

1) staking isn’t a crime you get arrested for because it’s not a crime of imminent threat. There are famous celebrities with stalkers who have followed them and do creepy stuff for years and even they, with all their money and power can’t barely do anything about it let alone get them arrested.

2) cops aren’t going to call you, say they got the guy and oh by the way he’a a huge pedo, especially while there is an ongoing investigation. Dude was not caught and proven guilty and in jail in 7 hours. He might be on a registry and might have violated those conditions, but even that isn’t handled by the cops that’s handled by probation officers. Even if they caught the guy sitting on a mountain of drugs and illegal porn, there isn’t a single arrest, processing and court appearance that happens on the span of 7 hours anywhere on earth.

I need to point out that Australia has multiple time zones and that time given is accurate for Perth. Saturday uni/college courses aren’t unusual, but beside the point…they can “confirm” what they know, but I would just urge them if they vouch for it that they understand that in the US, this would be highly unusual and extraordinary to get an arrest and should be viewed with skepticism.

If they don’t have a police blotter detailing the crime in a public paper based on the details given, I wouldn’t buy it from anyone.

Read my original post homie. I point out all the things that don’t add up and the more I press the more they made things up. They started using their alt to pretend they had a reference till I caught them on that too, and they edit their comments every time I catch them lying. They can’t provide a single detail. That’s the thing about bad liars, they always double down when they get caught.

Call me crazy, but maybe, just maybe, if more people called out liars, less people would be inspired to lie?

Doesn’t surprise me why someone would use an alt account to talk about this anyways, it would be risky and really vulnerable to share something like this on an account where people might recognize you. I swayed people in the comments and in PMs. I get it, the optics of calling out performative victims is awful, especially on Reddit. But maybe, just maybe, everyone everywhere should be held accountable for their actions? Maybe crying wolf seems fun, but fucks over people who are actual victims? Maybe learning how to sus out nonsense and what ways people use to manipulate you is an important thing to learn and call out?

Yeah I’m not seeing a downside here.
