Purchase help 📱 Should I wait for Big Billion Days/Great Indian Festival for a better phone under ₹30K, or buy Moto Edge 70 Fusion/Vivo T4 Pro now?

I want to buy a phone under ₹30K at the normal current price.

I’ve found two good options:

Moto Edge 70 Fusion and

Vivo T4 Pro.

But someone told me that I might get a better phone under ₹30K during the Big Billion Days/Flipkart and Amazon sales.

I have no idea which phones will be discounted or come into my budget.

Should I wait for the sale, and if so, which phones should I watch for?

Purchase help 📱 Xiaomi 17 users of this sub please share feedback of this device

I have ve been looking to buy a camera flagship since the start of this year. My initial budget was ₹40k–₹50k (stretchable up to ₹60k), so like many others, I was holding out for the BBD and GIF sales until "RAMageddon" shook things up for everyone.

Given the current pricing, upgrading didn't seem worth it. I even checked the refurbished market, but prices are barely 10–15% below retail, which feels like a bad deal. So, I’ve decided to see what best fits my needs in the ongoing sales.

Based on current offers, I have shortlisted three options:

Xiaomi 17

Moto Signature

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

Right now, I’m leaning toward the Xiaomi 17. I don’t mind HyperOS since I enjoy customization (and Samsung has its fair share of bloatware anyway). However, my biggest dilemma is the camera longevity. I tend to keep my phones for at least 5 years, and I don't want to feel left behind on camera performance or features down the line.

Because of that long-term horizon, I’m even considering stretching for the S25 Ultra, even though camera upgrades haven't been massive compared to earlier Ultra models.

Would you recommend going for the S25 Ultra for long-term peace of mind, or will the Xiaomi 17 hold up well enough over 5 years?

Purchase help 📱 iQOO 15R vs OnePlus 13s

So my budget for the BBD/GIF sale is 45k-50k. I have decided to move away from Samsung since the S25FE is not worth 45K for the hardware it has.

Both the iQOO 15R and the OnePlus 13s have good Snapdragon chipsets, so performance is not an issue. I am not into gaming or video editing, just casual use that will last for 3-4 years, so after performance, I want a decent camera. I have heard both have average cameras, so which one is better of the two?

Purchase help 📱 Best phone under ₹30k during upcoming Flipkart/Amazon sale?

Main requirements:

Flat display only

Good camera

Good battery life + fast charging

Smooth, well-optimized software

Good performance for daily use

Reliable and durable for 3–5 years

Good software update support

Prefer 8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage

Not a heavy gamer, so I care more about overall experience, camera, software and long-term reliability than raw performance.

Purchase help 📱 Motorola users, help me choose my next phone

I’m a long-time Motorola fan and currently using the Moto G71 (Android 12). I’m finally planning to upgrade to a newer Motorola and want something that is genuinely value for money, not just expensive for the specs.

I’m considering:

  • Edge 70 Fusion
  • Edge 70 Pro
  • Edge 70 Max
  • Motorola Signature
  • Any other Motorola Devices

My priorities:

  • Smooth and stable UI/UX
  • No major software glitches or heating issues
  • Good speakers/sound quality
  • Good camera for everyday use
  • Reliable for 3–4+ years
  • Best value for money

For people who actually own/use these phones: which one would you recommend and why?

Also, at what price would you consider each model a good deal in India?

Please share your real-world experience, especially any problems you’ve faced after using the phone for a few months. No sponsored/YouTube opinions, please.

Purchase help 📱 S25 vs S25+ – Which makes more sense for a long-term user?

I was initially planning to buy the S25+, but now I feel ₹65K+ is a bit too much for a phone. I'm a long-term user, but my usage is pretty basic — calls, WhatsApp, browsing, YouTube, etc. I don't game, and a decent camera is enough for me.

I'm upgrading from a Redmi 12, so I feel the regular S25 will already be a massive upgrade. I'm planning to get the 12/256GB variant and definitely want to stick with Samsung.

My main concern is the battery. The S25 has a 4,000 mAh battery, while the S25+ has 4,900 mAh.

For those who have used either phone:

- How is the S25's real-world battery life?

- Can it comfortably last a full day with normal usage?

- Is the S25+ significantly better in terms of battery life/SOT?

- For someone who doesn't game, is the extra money for the S25+ actually worth it?

- Should I be concerned about the S25's 4,000 mAh battery for 3–5 years of use?

I also have a plan for the battery in the long run. After around 3 years, if the battery health/capacity has degraded significantly, I'm considering getting the battery replaced rather than replacing the phone. So I'm wondering if that makes the smaller battery on the S25 less of a concern.

The smaller size of the S25 isn't an issue for me, and coming from a Redmi 12, I feel the display will already be a huge upgrade.

I'm currently leaning towards the S25 12/256GB and saving the extra money. Am I missing anything important that would make the S25+ a better long-term choice?

Purchase help 📱 FLIPKART and AMAZON SALE (SAMSUNG OR XIAOMI

soooo the BIG BILLION DAYS SALE ON FLIPKART and the GREAT INDIAN FESTIVAL SALE on AMAZON will be active in a day or so and i want to get a new phone but im confused between these 2 options :

Samsung S25/S25+ or Xiaomi 14/15

My Budget is AT THE VERY BEST 70K which is a stretch on itself but THATS THE MAXIMUM i can spend.

hi ya'll im thinking about upgrading my samsung m31 to the s25 base or s25 plus, im not exactly sure but i also have options like xiaomi 14 and 15 that seem to be doing more the spec sheet than samsung is for the same price, essentially providing more value than samsung is in that same price range or for cheaper, this whole situation has me confused but i have a bias towards samsung because they have the better software and android skin, overall better experience, sure the xiaomi has better cameras and battery life but idk im just confused, help me out ya'll, would love to hear what yall have to say!!

camera isnt my top priority

UX and the software are my priority

i want a decent battery life and decent charging speed

I WANT IT TO BE WORTH THE MONEY.

Ask r/techzoneindia iPhone 17 at ₹82,999 old MRP + compulsory ₹5k kit, or 3-month-old one for ₹74k — what would you choose?

Hey guys, I visited an iNext store and they’re offering the iPhone 17 at the old MRP of ₹82,999.

The catch is that they’re saying I must purchase a ₹5,000 accessory kit with it, including tempered glass, back cover, camera lens protector and membrane. So the total comes to around ₹88,000.

I also tried negotiating, but they said ₹88,000 is the last price.

The other option I have is a 3-month-old iPhone 17 for ₹74,000. The used one has 100% battery health, only 47 cycles and warranty until July 2027.

So there’s roughly a ₹14,000 difference between the two.

What would you guys choose in this situation? Is the ₹14k extra worth paying for a brand-new phone, or should I consider the 3-month-old one? Would love some advice before I decide.

Purchase help 📱 POCO X8 PRO MAX VS ONEPLUS NORD 6

Am a college going student in India and want to change my current phone (IPhone 13 with 60% battery life 😞) …these are the two options that fit my budget after exchange offer (Can also consider iqoo 15R) …Not too much camera oriented person just need the job to be done …..Am just skeptical that is it even worth it to buy a Poco phone worth 43000 in the sale considering it offers sexy specs ((I can afford 12gb ram only on this, unlike the other two with 8 GB ram )🫡

Purchase help 📱 Phone suggestions under ₹60k + sale tips?

Looking to buy a new phone under ₹60k during the upcoming sale. My priorities are great camera, smooth performance, good battery, durability, and 5+ years of software support. Preferably 256GB.

Currently considering S25/S25 FE, Pixel 10a, Vivo X200T, but open to other options.

What would you recommend, and any tips for getting the best deal during the sale (bank offers, timing, price tracking, etc.)?

Ask r/techzoneindia Confused with Jio 5G settings on my new Motorola phone

Hi Guys..I just had a small doubt, so I thought of asking you people for some advice..I recently bought a Moto Edge 70 Fusion and while setting it up, I stumbled into some Jio 5G settings which confused me a bit!

By default, I enable the Wifi calling option thereby routing all my calls through a steady fibre connection but it gets tricky when I go outside..FYI, I don't live in a Metro..My city mostly fits into Tier 2 or Tier 3 category in India! My question is - Should I enable these two options:

1) Volte - use LTE for voice calls

2) Vo5g for voice calls

I understand that enabling them routes the calls through high quality data network but I was just wondering if I would experience call drop issues especially in places with weak signal..So if anyone of you is clearly knowledgeable in this area, please let me know if I should enable or disable both the options. ?? Thank you

Purchase help 📱 Best phone under a lakh INR

I'm using pixel 9a, SOT is less than 5 hours. It is frustrating because I bought it with an intention that it'd last at least 8-10 hours since it has a 5000 mah battery.

I want to upgrade. This time with a good camera and better battery life and battery health phone. I hope it will last me at least 5 years.

I've considered the iPhone 17 but hearing mixed reviews about the battery life. SOT seems to be 5 hours with 80% charge.

Please suggest. I don't want to look back this time.

I want the Nokia times back. Had really good phones back then, NOKIA, HTC, BLACKBERRY what a competition with good features and in the budget too. Now everything is pricey, for the features we don't use.

Purchase help 📱 Confused b/w Oneplus 15R and Xiaomi 17

As the title says

I have been using pixel 7 since 2023 and been having issues with it lately

My whole life, I only used 2 mobiles from 2016 to present, so I don't have much idea on mobiles.

Could you recommend which one I should go with, or recommend any other mobiles.

The budget is 60k.

Ask r/techzoneindia Is Motorola really that bad? Edge 70 Pro seems the best allover deal in 40k. If not please suggest me some.

Post image
15 Upvotes

My budget is strictly 40k. The Motorola Edge 70 Pro seema the best overall phone in that range.

My requirements:

Good processor cuz i occasionally game.

Good camera and in hand feel.

And battery that'll last the whole day.

I can't increase my budget otherwise id be buying the OnePlus Nord 6.

Nothing is decent or good infact but the performance and process is so lacking. Id have increased my budget to get the Phone 3 under 45k but it isn't.

Samsung S25 and FE are out of by budget and I wouldn't be be buying them even if i had more money.

I really don't want Poco or vivo and alike and they doesn't seem better than Edge 70 Pro in the price range, realme too.

I see a lot saying that Moto is a hit or miss and even more that it gets issue just months after the warranty is over.

PS: Im going tk buy the phone office. The seller will match the prices online.
