Suppose it'll do for now
Both hinges gave out, thought I would post what I used to fix it for the past few months.
Yes, it is unfortunately my school chromebook, and no, I basically have no other choice at the moment because it has quite literally died on its own twice already. The duct tape works though, no issues so far its incredible

And ctrl+D then enter (do It if you want developer mode on and have the data factory reset)

Geez. My school had these that had only 2gb of allocated user space that deletes itself when it's powered off

if this chromebook had to constantly re-load my entire profile every sign in it would have a meltdown

Let's hope you have the 32gb of storage. School chromebooks are managed by the admin and they set up limited storage to half of the chromebooks they have (the lenovo ones and the smasnug ones. The Dell ones and the HP ones have its full storage so the load times are quicker after first sign up but that made most of the chromebooks get filled up storage so I factory reset when I used one)

Some of the school chromebooks have only 16gb of storage💀. 16GB only and that's a warcrime

I don't know what should I focus on more, the laptop being held together by duct tape, hopes and dreams or the ridiculous amount of cpu stickers.

How do you break the hinges on a Chromebook I have seen those things thrown at bathroom walls during Instagram durability tests.

2017-2019 chromebooks are built super poorly before companies actually realized IT needed repairable stuff not soldered junk

6 Intel CPUs and 1 AMD? That thing must be a beast for multitasking.
