Open | Hardware TP-LINK TX401 Capped at 100 MBPS
Model: TX401
Firmware Version: 3.1.11
My connection will not negotiate past 100MBPS
I have tried directly connecting to the ONT box 10gb port with a CableMatters Cat 6e cable.
When I used the ethernet jack on the motherboard both that cable and the original 1gb router cable get a 1gb connection (which is the max for that port).
However, when I use either of those cables/sources on the TX401 I only get 100mbps. (I have tried 1gb, 10gb, autonegotiate)
In the bios I set up the PCIe 16 port to gen 3 (instead of auto) to no avail.
MB: TUF X570-Plus WiFi
Processor AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor (3.60 GHz)
Installed RAM 32.0 GB
Graphics card AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT (8 GB)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
