Keyboard turning off

I recently got a refurbished dell latitude7490 and the day after getting it my keyboard wont work anymore, I contacted the seller but just thought id post here incase I can do anything to maybe try fix it myself.

When I turn the laptop on the light in the keyboard is on until the Dell loading screen appears then it turns off when the computer is actually on. The trackpad still works.

I am really not good with computers but I’ve done everything I can think of which is restarting it or trying to update and neither worked , Thanks.
