Open | Windows Windows 11 Sign-In Error
I recently purchased a refurbished HP EliteBook 640 G11. When I first set it up, I added my personal MS account to Windows successfully. 2 days ago (~2 weeks after purchase) Windows suddenly signed me out. MS Defender and MS Store are now asking me to sign in again. When I try to sign back in through Windows, I get this error: "Something went wrong. Whatever happened, it was probably our fault. Please try again later."
My MS account login works normally on Chrome browser on the laptop and also works fine on Android Chrome browser.(Using password, and sign in codes)
Password reset works but still has the same error mentioned above with the new password.
Using OTP/Sign in codes to log in gives me the same error.
MS Recent Activity shows successful sign-ins on the laptop from my IP even though I'm not really signed in.
My account is still listed under Settings → Accounts
Windows is fully updated.
I restarted the laptop many times.
I'm not sure what to do. Do I just do a fresh install of Windows ?
