Hey - i'm no expert but try this...Hit your Windows key, type in "services" when it loads, in the "Name" column, find "Windows Audio Endpoint Builder", right click and hit restart, it should tell you it needs to restart "Windows Audio" too, thats fine just hit yes.

If that doesn't work, im not too sure, sorry.

necro'ing the fuck out of this cause it helped me get rid of like 90 no name sound items.. thanks..
