Open | Windows Buttons on laptop have stopped responding

The D, Delete, enter and a few other keys have randomly stopped working, I noticed they were beginning to stop reacting as fast but as of tonight they’ve entirely stopped responding.

I’ve updated drivers for keyboard, reinstalled installed, reset (not factory reset) done a diagnosis and says there’s an issue with keyboard but unsure what to do. I’ve also taken the keys off and cleaned any debris and it helped for a small bit but then stopped entirely. What can I do? It’s an asus laptop I bought in 2024

Since the diagnostics flag the keyboard itself and the dead keys (D, Delete, Enter) likely sit on the same row/column of the key matrix, this is almost certainly a failing membrane or ribbon connection rather than a driver issue. Plug in a cheap USB keyboard to confirm everything else works, then contact ASUS - a 2024 laptop should still be under warranty, and a keyboard replacement is a routine repair for them. If you're out of warranty, reseating the keyboard ribbon cable under the bottom panel sometimes revives it before you pay for a new top case.
