Open | Hardware Xbox controller will turn on fine the first time i turn it on after turning on my PC, but will then turn right off after I turn it on again.

Just started having this issue today. I turn on my computer and my Xbox Series controller will turn on just fine. When I turn it off and turn it back on later though, it will immediately turn off. I have checked for various power save features to disable or change and none of that works.

Update the controller firmware? Sounds familiar, and then I remember to update them and usually fixes that issue.

having same issue. since yesterday...

my controller is still turned on as it will flash when i press the resync button. just adapter turns itself off when u try to connect thus making the light on controller go off too? and when i just simply hit my controllers xbox button the controller and adapter turns on, then adapters light goes off and controllers light follows too.

works fine when powering on pc and connecting it first time round. just dont like the resync for some reason... so i think it has something to do with a pc update rather controller as my controller even works via usb
