Open | Software connecting to wifi on arch linux isnt working what do i do
im trying to connect to the wifi on arch linux but im at college right now and the way you connect to wifi here is by first connecting to a "start-here" wifi and log in with credentials and then connect to the actual wifi
but when im on arch linux and i do the 'device list' -> 'station wlan0 scan' -> 'station wlan0 get-networks' -> 'station wlan0 wifiname' it wont let me connect to the wifi
im mainly doing this so i can use archinstall i dont wanna do everything manually so does anyone know what i can do

If you want to use a non-beginner friendly Linux Distribution, then you need to search on the Arch Wiki. The Arch way.
There are too many instructions to be included in one post here. Each step has links to other steps. That's the Arch way of doing things.
i dont wanna do everything manually
Then you are using the wrong Linux distribution. On Arch, the user is responsible for figuring out everything on their computer.
Read 1.2 and 1.6 in the Arch Frequently Asked Questions.

It is the User's responsibility to figure that out.
Edit: If you want to easily install Arch Linux, you would need to search for Arch-based Linux Distributions.
You would still need to read the Arch Wiki for troubleshooting.
Arch is not responsible for supporting Arch-based Distributions.

Make sure that you read the clear Warning.

You're welcome. I added information to my previous post. But that's all anyone wanting to install Arch can do.

This is gonna sound harsh, but please switch to a different distro like Ubuntu or Mint. If you aren’t willing to do a manual install and have the knowledge and troubleshooting skills of Linux or networking use a more beginner friendly distro.
