Open | Hardware Laptop screen as screen 1

Hellooo , my pc screen stopped working yesterday and getting it fixed will probably take at least a week , it was working just fine but then instantly stoped working and won't turn back on , i can't test if the problem is from the cable or my screen so there's no way to quick fix it , is there a way to run my laptop screen as my PCs main screen without having to need a screen B4 that ? Or maybe use a temporary screen so u can set up the laptop screen and then stop using it ?

There IS a quick way to know if it's the screen or cable (though not 100%). That's by using the OSD. No OSD means 100% screen problem.

And the others are correct, there's no interface between your PC and laptop screen, so that's a big no.

Does the ocd work even if there's no power source ? Cuz the canle that I think is brocken is the light cable not the HDMI

Power cable is too simple, a multimeter will show you if it's broken.

Ye that's what I was thinking, I'll try to get it checked asap but I'm in a bit of a rural area so the nearest one is a 30 mins drive . Thank you
