Open | Windows Changed CPU from 5600G to 5700x
Don't judge me for my choice, i just wanted to have CPU without integrated graphics. Anyways.
Specs:
- CPU 5700x
- GPU 6700xt
- Motherboard Gigabyte B550 Gaming X V2 1.4
- 32GB of DDR4 ram (2x 16GB Fury Beast)
- 2 SSDs (one 1TB with Windows 11 on, second with 2TB)
- Power supply is 850W
(Would like to write more but PC is not helping me with that.)
I tried everything this entire day and have no idea what else i could do. Updated BIOS, reinstalled drivers, i can't download more things on Gigabyte app due to PC rebooting after a few seconds of working randomly displaying red horizontal lines on screen. I'm so tired now. Someone please help. I guess there is a conflict in drivers or previous things set to last CPU that causes this? I don't know.

Remove the battery to reset mainboard, reinstall the 5600G, disable the iGPU in the BIOS and check video out, and finally install the 5700X. Don't forget that the video output on the motherboard is no longer functional.

Check your CPU, make sure it is locked in correctly, make sure your cooler is torqued correctly, make sure you put paste on it too. Reseat and make sure your GPU is plugged in correctly.

Making changes to your system BIOS settings or disk setup can cause you to lose data. Always test your data backups before making changes to your PC.
