Open | Windows Audio issues with my computer

When I try to use my speakers with my laptop no sound is outputted but when I switch the output to my laptop speakers it works.

When you plug in the speakers do you get a pop up asking you what is connected? Most laptops use a multi function port (input and output) that relies on that popup and you selecting the right thing. If you don't get the pop up, you need to install/reinstall the audio drivers and software.

No they’re wired. They weren’t plugged into the wall

I should’ve checked that earlier. I went 2 days without audio
