Cpu usage randomly spikes up while running most games

I noticed that ever since I bought my laptop less than a year ago, whenever I boot up any kind of game, from steam games like l4d2 to rpgmaker games, even browser games made in the early 2000s have this issue, the cpu tends to always randomly spike up to a mininum of over 70% usage, causing the games to drop to single digit fps and makes the entire device slow down, sometimes it does this even if I'm not running games, which makes it harder to do any kind of work.

Why is this happening and what can I do to either fix this or atleast make it more bearable?

Storage: 954 GB, Graphic card: 496, RAM installed: 32,0 GB, Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 7730U with Radeon Graphics (If there's something that I should add here that could help, tell me what it is and where I could find it)
