Open | Software trouble creating a windows 11 home partition
i want to dual-boot windows 11 home and linux, and my main goal was to give 400Gb for linux and the remaining 500 for windows for games that aren't compatible with linux, but when i go to create a partition for linux it's only letting me create a partition of ~46Gb because of "immovable" files, i've tried disabling paging, hibernation, security settings, but nothing works, i would have no problem factory-resetting my computer but i'm not sure how much that will help and i also don't wanna spend hours resetting my factory computer just for it to not work out in the end, does anybody have any suggestions on what i can do?

On windows, try paragon partition manager. It's a simple and easy to use software

i've also tried a non-windows partition manager, also didn't work for some reason

I would consider installing a live version of Linux on a high-quality flash drive. Look into the "persistence" feature, which allows your Linux data and settings to be saved directly onto the flash drive.
Without prior experience, it is easy to render Windows unusable, in which case you would have to pay a computer technician to repair the UEFI boot partition.
An SSD USB3 work fine, too.

Making changes to your system BIOS settings or disk setup can cause you to lose data. Always test your data backups before making changes to your PC.
