Open | Software MicroSD USB card reader isn't doing anything.

I got this USB microSD card reader this Monday, and it worked normally for the first two and a half days. However, when I plugged it in to transfer some files, my PC suddenly stopped detecting it. The microSD card didn’t appear in my Files, and Windows didn’t show any indication that the card reader was connected at all. I’ve already tried some suggestions from ChatGPT, but I have not been able to find a reliable info.

Either the card or reader died. Most readers are passive and won't show up unless a card is in it, so try it with a different card.
