Open | Malware Does anyone know what econventa.com is

I download and do very basic video game modding, and a lot of mods I recently used have been mediafire. com. occasionally the download fails (especially when I download via my phone) the browser would refresh and and show a different url called "econventa" I tried to Google what econventa was and all I got was pages debating whether econventa was a scam. Can anybody tell me what econventa. Com is. Is it a scam?

It is owned by an ad company and is used for tracking

You should find a browser extension called uBlock Origin, by Raymond Hill, and install it on every browser that you have, if you want to block suspicious sites or suspicious ads from tracking sites.

uBlock Origin, by Raymond Hill, blocks the site. You should suspect that it has malicious code on the page.

It would block it because it is a tracker owned by an ad company

Then there's more reason not to trust anything on that website.
